Care
Keep off wet floors and stretched out on rod at all times to prevent moisture buildup. Keep bathroom well-ventilated.
Machine wash with like colors — cold or warm water, linen/delicate setting. Best to hang to dry. Steam-iron at linen setting, if desired.
1/2 cup of borax or 1/4 cup of distilled white vinegar can be added to the wash to prevent/cure mildew. While our hemp shower curtains are designed to be used without a liner, if you wish to keep your hemp shower curtain in new condition, a zero-VOC or low-VOC liner is recommended. Chances are, if you get mildew on your hemp shower curtain, you would also get it on plastic or organic cotton shower curtains too. Fresh air is the best safeguard against fungus.
